As the only rugby club located in Queenstown, New Zealand, the Wakatipu Rugby Club has a proud record of one of the strongest Otago Country Rugby Clubs around. Formed in 1953 the club currently fields two senior rugby teams, the Premiers and Wanderers, as well as a Women’s team and a strong junior rugby club including Girl's Rippa Rugby.
